BELOW, YOU WILL FIND COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT OUR EVENT. We will be adding to it regularly!

New Security Measures

To provide a safer environment for our attendees, The Atlantic City Beer and Music Festival will implement a policy this year that limits the size and type of bags that may be brought into the Festival. Our Security team will also be wanding all attendees before entering the festival.

We strongly encourage attendees not to bring any type of bags, but outlined below is what is permissible. Attendees will be able to carry the following:

  • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12" or

  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar) See examples below.

  • Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap. See examples below.

  • An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose

 

Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:

  • Purses larger than a clutch bag

  • Coolers

  • Briefcases

  • Backpacks

  • Fanny packs

  • Cinch bags

  • Luggage of any kind

  • Computer bags

  • Camera bags

  • Or any bag larger than the permissible size

Do you have to be 21 to enter the festival?

YES.

To enter The Atlantic City Beer & Music Festival as a patron, you must be 21 years of age with a valid, state-issued form of identification. This guideline cannot be bent in any way shape or form.

 

Repeat- YES. ALL ATTENDEES, EVEN DESIGNATED DRIVERS MUST BE 21 YRS OLD AND OVER TO ENTER.

Is the beer included with my ticket?

Yes! When you purchase a ticket to The Atlantic City Beer & Music Festival, this grants you access to responsibly enjoy our selection of nearly 1,000 beers made by almost 200 breweries from across the globe. Enjoy!

What if i am a designated driver?

You're a good friend. No seriously, thank you for doing that. Designated Driver tickets are sold AT the box office only, on the day of the event. You're permitted to enjoy the music, the food, the amusements, and the vendors, just not the beer. You'll also get a complimentary high-five from us for being so awesome.

ARE VIP TICKETS AVAILABLE?

Yes, we do have an AWESOME VIP option that is $115 (plus taxes & fees) per ticket and includes the following:

  • Early entry into your session of A.C. Beer Fest

  • Access to the world-famous mustache lounge

  • A fake mustache to wear inside said mustache lounge

  • A welcome toast with festival organizer Jon Henderson & the Headlining band of that session

  • An exclusive VIP-ONLY A.C. Beer Fest t-shirt (you'll be emailed for your size before the event)

  • A custom VIP pint glass from us at A.C. Beer Fest

  • Various gifts and goodies from our event partners

  • A great swag bag to carry all of that stuff in, and to use on your future beer adventures (where permitted)

IS RE-ENTRY TO THE FESTIVAL PERMITTED?

That's a negative there, friend. Unless you're participating in the Hops Trot and need to head to coat check or bag check with your race bib still attached. Due to state and local alcohol control board guidelines for the safety and security of our patrons, staff, and bands, once a patron exits the festival floor they will not be granted re-entry to the event. This guideline is adhered to strictly and is not able to be negotiated.

DO I GET ENTRY TO THE EVENT WITH A HOPS TROT REGISTRATION?

Absolutely, Session 2! That's a big benefit of registering for the 3rd annual Hops Trot 5k Run. Early entry into Session 2 of The Atlantic City Beer and Music Festival! Your Hops Trot registration is only good for Session 2. Entry into any other session of The Atlantic City Beer And Music Festival requires a purchased ticket.

WILL THERE BE A COAT CHECK?

We currently have plans to facilitate the needs of people with coats outside of the main entrance under the escalator on the 2nd floor, depending on the weather. This coat check will be operated and administered by The Atlantic City Convention Center, not Good Time Tricycle Productions.
